Japanese Hardware War Now Officially Boring
By Aiden Chen |
Minor fluctuations in the currently tepid Japanese console race don’t make this week’s Media Create chart all that exciting, to be honest. A slightly slinking PlayStation presence and marginally expanded Nintendo one [[link]] isn’t exactly thrilling.
But neither was the software contest, which saw a pair of Nintendo DS titles beating out the Japanese release of Mass Effect. The Xbox 360 game gave Microsoft’s console a slight bump in sales, but not enough to push it past PlayStation 2 sales.
Wii sales are slightly up, PS3 sales slightly down. [[link]] And that’s about as heated as it got. The numbers are after this.
Nintendo DSi – 33,833
PSP – 27,536
Wii – 16,233
PlayStation 3 – 10,932
Nintendo DS Lite – 5,631
PlayStation 2 – 4,075
Xbox 360 – 3,854

Customer support has been outstanding whenever I had any issues. They respond quickly and professionally, ensuring that any concerns with deposits, withdrawals, or gameplay are addressed immediately, which makes me trust the platform more. I love the overall aesthetic of the platform. The animations, visual effects, and sound design make the gaming experience more dynamic and immersive. It's one of the reasons I keep coming back.
